Storytelling

Science fiction, fantasy, television, and film have been major influences throughout my life, particularly through gaming, online communities, and podcasting. However, storytelling and worldbuilding only became a much larger personal interest later on through podcasting and fandom communities.

Working on shows such as The G&T Show introduced me to books, audiobooks, long-form storytelling, and wider science fiction and fantasy communities that I had never really explored growing up. That experience gradually expanded my interests beyond simply watching television and films into storytelling, atmosphere, worldbuilding, character-driven narratives, and creative projects of my own.

Many of the creative projects I work on today — particularly around Roll20 and Midnight Realm — have grown directly out of that later discovery of storytelling-focused media and communities.
